NEED FOR SPEED TERROR 5

Developed the high level concept and art direction for Need for Speed: Terror 5. The project began with a question from Studio Art Director Wilson Tang: how would street racers operate in a post 9/11 America? My answer shaped the world. Racers turned the city’s surveillance systems against it, using smartphones and online networks to organize races and manage underground betting. The city branded them terrorists, and the racers embraced the name, calling themselves Terror5. The player’s goal was to rise through the underground scene and earn a place among this infamous crew.

Main Menu Prototype

I worked closely with Prologue Films to produce this main menu prototype. The goal was to explore a broadcast inspired visual direction that connected the game’s underground world to the larger Terror 5 narrative. The prototype helped define how graphic language, motion, and tone could carry the story beyond gameplay.

Created with Prologue Films, this prototype explored a tactical map system for tracking underground races across the city. The design fused glitch visuals with surveillance-style mapping to reinforce the Terror 5 narrative

Terror5  League Access Message Clip

Partnered with Prologue Films to create an access message from Terror5 to the player, inviting them into the underground racing league. The piece introduced the group’s voice and attitude, designed as a distorted transmission that served as the player’s first step down the rabbit hole.
